All nine of Atlantic City’s casinos agreed to new labour deals this summer without a strike, although its union opted for just one-year deals instead of the typical length of three or more years. This was in response to increased uncertainty related to looming competition from both New York City casinos and New Jersey’s own online gaming industry.
In Las Vegas, the Culinary Union has unionised the entire Las Vegas Strip and secured historic wage increases during the last round of negotiations. 1spin4win has timed a new beer-festival slot, Welcome to Octoberfest, to land alongside the real-world Oktoberfest season. It extends a recurring theme the studio comes back to each year.
The significance here is less about the individual game than about what it confirms. 1spin4win is running a deliberate, calendar-driven release model, not treating seasonal themes as one-off novelties.
Seasonal releases are an important part of the studio’s content strategy. 1spin4win regularly builds games inspired by international celebrations, among them Christmas, New Year, St. Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Halloween, and Oktoberfest.
